
The Assistant University Librarian (AUL) will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple library departments, including collection development, technical services, and user services. The AUL will work closely with the University Librarian and other members of the Library Management Group to develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and goals for the library. The AUL will also play a key role in university-wide planning and policymaking, ensuring that the library's resources and services align with the overall mission and objectives of the institution.In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the AUL will be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the library. This includes staying current on trends and best practices in academic librarianship, as well as exploring new technologies and service models to enhance the user experience. The AUL will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with faculty, students, and other stakeholders to ensure that the library's resources and services meet the needs of the university community.
