Our client is seeking an Associate Provost for Academic Administration to support the Provost in all academic areas. Located in Odessa, Texas, UTPB serves a diverse community of students and is positioned in the rapidly growing Permian Basin region. The region is experiencing significant economic growth due to the oil industry, as well as diversification into wind and solar energy, finance, construction, healthcare, and technology sectors. As the only major university in the area, UTPB plays a crucial role in providing skilled professionals across these industries.
The Associate Provost for Academic Administration will lead efforts related to accreditation, curriculum development, faculty development, and academic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree, experience in accreditation and assessment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
