The global management consultancy is seeking an Associate Director Energy Transition Strategy (infrastructure) to provide strategic advice on the energy transition to clients in the energy and water sectors. The role involves advising on net zero strategies, decarbonization of the energy sector, energy policy impact assessment, low carbon technology assessments, and market analysis for transactions in the net zero space. The successful candidate will need to apply a structured strategic approach to problem-solving, lead project delivery, maintain technical understanding of key sectors, and have strong sector-specific knowledge and technical skills.
Ideal candidates will have significant experience in the strategy space, particularly in the energy sector, with knowledge of corporate strategy, investment decision-making, and commercial/regulatory due diligence. They should also understand new and emerging value propositions in the utilities sector, have experience in energy policy and economic regulation, and be skilled in strategic and financial analysis.
