
The client is seeking an Associate Director for Collections, Education, and Research Services at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing collections, developing educational programs, and providing research services in a cultural institution. Responsibilities include overseeing the acquisition, preservation, and access to collections, designing and implementing educational initiatives for diverse audiences, and leading a team of research services staff.
The Associate Director will collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance the Schomburg Center's collections, educational programs, and research services. They will work closely with curators, educators, and researchers to ensure the center's resources are utilized effectively and reach a wide audience. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Black culture and history, and a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of their work.
