Our client is seeking an Associate Dean of Research and Innovation (ADRI) for the College of Architecture and Planning. This individual will report to the Dean of the College and will hold a tenured professor rank within one of the academic units. The ADRI will support faculty across all academic units, promote a research environment that encourages innovation and inclusive dialogue, and foster trust and respect among faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have a strong academic leadership background, a robust research and scholarly profile, and a proven track record of securing and managing large external grants. Responsibilities include advancing the College's research portfolio, developing programs and infrastructure to support innovative work, increasing indirect cost recovery, promoting student involvement in research, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating the retention, promotion, and tenure process. The ADRI will also work with research centers, academic programs, funding agencies, and stakeholders to align research programs with the College's overall strategy and aspirations.
