The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance plays a crucial role in enhancing the financial and cultural strength of the University through fiscal analysis, planning, and reporting. They work closely with the Vice Chancellor to develop strategies, solve problems, provide leadership, and effectively manage the Financial Services unit, which includes the Budget Office, the Bursars Office, and Accounting Services. The AVCAF also fulfills the role of director for the Budget Office, overseeing staff and working towards established goals.This position requires a high level of complexity and creativity, as well as strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and excellent communication abilities. The AVCAF must possess integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to think strategically with a university-wide perspective. Collaboration both within and outside the finance division is essential for success in this role, as well as the capability to recognize issues and implement effective solutions. R
